tomorrow are my salary negotiations.
i'm pretty nervous, whatever happens will make or break this job for me.
if i get what i want, i'll be happy.
if i don't get what i want, i'll probably still keep the job for the experience, but i'll probably not be very happy with it.
i'm expecting them to offer extremely low. but maybe they will surprise me.

i've started to really enjoy kombucha, for the flavor, and how it makes me feel.
but at close to $3.50 a pop, it adds up too fast.
i was going to spend 30 bucks on a kombucha mother off the net. but then i was reading and someone said you can grow a mother from a bottle of kambucha. just make it like normal then add a bottle of the store bought stuff (i used GT's original). it'll take longer to ferment because there is no mother, and it has to form on its own. if all goes well, in 2 weeks i'll be bottling this shit, then few days later i'll have my own kombucha.
when i start the second batch a daughter "mushroom" will form from the mother. so if anyone wants one to make their own, hit me up.

i'm hoping to replace all the diet soda i drink with kombucha. diet soda taste like shit and isn't very good for you, so it'll be a good swap.

interestingly from my research on the subject, i found out that the Google cafeteria go through gallons of house made kambucha daily for employees.

everyone tries to tell me guarana is bad for you and your body can't digest it and shit.
but i just searched the internet, expecting to find a bunch of information about how bad it is, and warnings about energy drinks and the such.
but i couldn't find a single site that said it was bad for you, except that it's got caffeine in it.

someone enlighten me on the subject?

im moving out the 1st.
i'm pretty excited. we're getting a lot of new stuff for our place.
i bought myself a new monitor for my birthday. that was a nice gift to me. my old one wouldn't fit in our new place, 21inch crt monitors are fucking huge.
i got some money and giftcards for my birthday. it will all help out a lot when we move.
my job is going real good, which is nice.

this has been a slow year.

today while i was working, the wound from my surgery that is still healing, split open.
now i got a giant hole. it's not as deep as it was (to the bone), so that's good, means it's healing. it needs to heal from the inside out anyways, so the fact that it split isn't that bad, there's so much tension on that area anyways, it's amazing it didn't happen sooner. well it did happen sooner, but not to this extent. it hurts now though. it hadn't hurt at all or even really bothered me since i got the tubes out. yesterday it was bothering me a lot, today as well, and then it split. blood everywhere. it was like a scene from a really bad horror movie. i got to go home early though. which kinda sucks. i went home early every day last week, i wanted to get a full 8 hours today. but tomorrow i work 16 hours, that sure will make up for it.

it's been a hard day's night.

i start my new job today. i kinda nervous. but not really.
it seems like it's gonna be a easy job.
all i hope is that it's pretty busy. i didn't like my last job, because my shifts were only 5 hours and 3 and a half of those hours were completely dead so time just stood still.
this job i'll be having 8 hours shifts, so i hope it wont be too slow. i wont be able to stand 8 slow hours.
thursday will be my first day of working two 8 hour shifts back to back, then waking up the next day to do it again.
it should be fun.
at least i'm looking forward to it.

working 13+ hours a day is starting to get to me.
i almost want to call into work tonight.
i had to work this morning and i was at wrok for 3 hours before i finally woke up.
now i'm beat again.
but i only have 2 more days at this job before i start my other second job.
i'd feel like a dick calling in. especially since i don't call in ever.
oh well. at least i get tomorrow morning off.
